Slowrev / Your purchase
Terms of Sale & Licence.
What you receive, how you can use it, and your rights when buying a photograph.
Last updated: 4 October 2026 · sale-personal-licence-2026-10-04-v4
1. Who you are buying from
The seller and licensor is Arsalan Tahir, trading as Slowrev. These terms apply to photograph downloads purchased through slowrev.co.uk for personal use. The contract and checkout are in English.
For order enquiries, complaints, cancellation requests or commercial licensing, email support@slowrev.co.uk. You can also contact @car.sptz on Instagram. Please include your order reference if you have one.
Business postal address: 67 Alexandra Road, London
2. What you receive
Where a photograph is offered free, references in these terms to successful payment mean successful completion of the free order; no payment is required. The same personal-use licence and download-access period apply. A mixed basket is charged only for its paid photographs.
Each purchased photograph is supplied as a full-quality, unwatermarked JPEG digital file with the personal-use licence below. There is no physical print, delivery by post, subscription, exclusive licence or transfer of copyright. The photograph, price and any available dimensions or file information are shown on its product page and in checkout.
You need internet access, sufficient storage and a device or application that can download and open JPEG files. Ordinary JPEG viewing software is sufficient; no Slowrev account or specialist Slowrev software is required. Internet or printing costs charged by your own provider are your responsibility. Screen and print colours may differ, but this does not excuse a file that is faulty or does not match its description.
3. Ordering and payment
Add photographs to your basket, review the items and total, enter and confirm your email address, and accept these terms and the separate immediate-delivery consent. You can remove items and correct details before continuing to Stripe. Review the final payment screen before using its payment button; that button authorises payment.
Prices and the order total are in pounds sterling (GBP). The total shown before you pay includes any applicable taxes charged by Slowrev. There are no Slowrev shipping charges for downloads or recurring payments. Your bank may charge its own currency conversion fees. Payment is by the card methods shown in Stripe Checkout.
Continuing to Stripe or abandoning a payment does not complete a purchase. The contract is formed when payment succeeds and Slowrev confirms the purchase by making the purchased downloads available. Your confirmation email records the items, prices, order reference, accepted terms and immediate-delivery consent. Keep a copy for your records.
If a payment is taken but an original cannot be supplied, contact Slowrev. We will provide the purchased file or refund the affected purchase without undue delay. We will not replace it with a different photograph or charge a higher price without your agreement.
4. Delivery and download access
Supply is intended to begin immediately after successful payment is confirmed. Your download page opens after payment, and a link is also sent to the email address entered at checkout. Check spam or junk folders if it does not arrive, and contact Slowrev if you cannot access your purchased files.
Download links are valid for seven days from the first confirmed payment. Save your files and keep a backup within that period. Link expiry limits access through the shop; it does not expire the personal-use licence for files you have lawfully received, delete the order record or remove your consumer rights. Contact Slowrev if you need help after expiry; permanent online storage is not part of the purchase.
Treat the download link as private: anyone holding it may be able to download your order. Full refunds revoke shop download access. Access may also be suspended while a payment dispute is investigated; this does not decide the dispute or remove statutory remedies. A partial refund does not automatically end permission to use photographs for which you have paid.
5. Your personal-use licence
Once payment succeeds, Arsalan Tahir grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide personal-use licence to the purchased photographs, with no fixed end date. Copyright remains with Arsalan Tahir. Other customers can buy a licence to the same photograph.
You may store the files on your own devices, make backup copies, use them as personal wallpapers, and make prints for your own private display. You may use a printing service solely to produce your personal prints; give it no broader rights and ask it not to retain or reuse the file beyond that work.
You may post the photograph on your personal, non-commercial social media with a visible credit to Arsalan Tahir / Slowrev (and @car.sptz where tagging is available). Sharing a displayed image this way is permitted; offering the purchased JPEG or download link for others to download is not. You may resize or crop for these permitted uses, but must not claim authorship or misrepresent the photographer’s work.
You must not resell, sublicense, distribute or give away the JPEG or download link; sell prints or merchandise made from it; upload it to stock libraries; or use it in advertising, sponsored posts, business accounts, paid publications or other commercial activity. A separate written licence is needed for commercial or other uses outside the permissions above. Contact Slowrev before that use.
The licence covers the photographer’s copyright only. It does not grant permission from people shown in the photograph or rights in visible brands, artworks or property. No model or property release is supplied unless the product description expressly says so. You remain responsible for using the image lawfully.
If there is a material breach of the licence, Slowrev may ask you to stop the prohibited use and, where the breach can be remedied, give a reasonable opportunity to remedy it before ending the licence. Any termination must be proportionate and does not remove your statutory rights. Following a full refund, stop using and delete the refunded files and copies, except where the law allows you to retain them.
6. Immediate supply and cancellation
For digital content supplied without a physical medium, consumers normally have a 14-day cancellation period beginning the day after the contract is made. This shop supplies files immediately rather than waiting for that period to end.
Before paying, you must separately give express consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day cancellation right once supply begins. These terms do not replace that separate checkbox. Your consent and acknowledgement are recorded and included in your confirmation email. Where the legal requirements for ending the cancellation right have not been met, your cancellation rights remain.
Once supply has begun with the required consent, acknowledgement and confirmation, changing your mind does not itself entitle you to cancel. This does not affect rights where a photograph is faulty, not as described, not supplied or otherwise fails to meet the contract.
If a cancellation right still applies, tell Slowrev clearly within the applicable period by email or post. You may use the form below but do not have to. For a valid cancellation, we will refund payments due under the law without undue delay and within 14 days of being informed, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee.
7. Problems, refunds and your consumer rights
Paid digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose you made known and we agreed to, and as described. If there is a problem, contact Slowrev with the order reference and a description so we can investigate. A seven-day download window is not a deadline for reporting faults.
Where required by consumer law, you can request repair or replacement within a reasonable time, without significant inconvenience and at no cost. Where those remedies are impossible or cannot be provided as required, you may be entitled to a price reduction, which can be the full price. Other statutory remedies, including remedies where we lack the right to supply the content or where qualifying damage is caused to your device or other digital content, remain available.
Refunds are made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed and permitted by law. Slowrev does not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights, liability for fraud, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
These purchases are for personal use. Slowrev is responsible for foreseeable loss caused by a breach of this contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not impose a cap that takes away remedies you are entitled to by law.
8. Complaints and applicable law
Please contact Slowrev first if there is a problem so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from seeking independent advice, contacting your payment provider, or exercising any legal remedy.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Consumers can bring proceedings in courts available to them under applicable law; these terms do not require you to use only the courts of England and Wales.
9. Privacy and changes
The Privacy notice explains how personal information is used for checkout, delivery, support and agreement records. Accepting these terms does not give permission for marketing.
The version accepted at checkout applies to your purchase. Later changes apply to later orders and do not retrospectively change an existing purchase or licence. You can save or print this page, and a copy of the accepted terms is included in the order email.
Optional cancellation form
Use this only where a cancellation right applies. An email clearly saying you wish to cancel is also sufficient.
